PURVIS Vice President of DoD Operations & Business Development, Debbie Proffitt, recognized again by Leadership Rhode Island

Leadership Rhode Island honored Debbie Proffitt at their annual Inspiring Leaders Awards Luncheon.

In recognition of Leadership Rhode Island’s 40 years, the organization recognized PURVIS’ Debbie Proffitt as one of 40 alumni leaders who are emblematic of Servant Leadership, a fundamental essence of the organization. Debbie embodies the attributes of a servant leader and was honored for the following strengths: Positivity, Developer, Empathy, Achiever, and Connectedness.

As a testament to all of these qualities, when asked why Rhode Islanders should have hope right now, she noted:

“Rhode Islanders should have hope because our future leaders are awe-inspiring! RI is using innovative, nationally recognized approaches to close the gap between education and careers for our youth and young adults. They are learning and exploring their strengths and career pathways and participating in work-based learning opportunities and challenging/innovative internships.”
