PURVIS Awarded a 5-year, $36.9 Million Contract with the Maritime Sensors Special Projects (MSSP) Office

PURVIS Systems in Newport, RI was recently awarded a 5-year, $36.9 million contract with the Maritime Sensors Special Projects (MSSP) Office, at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport.

PURVIS will be providing engineering and technical services to support the complete lifecycle of carry-on augmentation equipment including operations support, concept analysis, installation, documentation, training, system fabrication and refurbishment, and operational evaluation.

Systems include:

  • Image Processing Systems
  • Platform Integration Systems
  • Network Systems
  • Communication Systems
  • And all subsequent equipment that interfaces with these systems

This contract builds upon and greatly expands PURVIS’ current efforts and strengths with the development, installation, and training of submarine Temporary Alteration (TEMPALT) systems in support of the MSSP Office.
