Senior Life Cycle Logistician

Job Title: Senior Life Cycle Logistician | Location: Middletown, RI | Full-Time

Description of Work:

As a Life Cycle Logistician, the candidate will work independently and/or supervise a team to plan, develop, implement and manage effective and affordable logistics/product support strategies for U.S. Navy electronic, weapon, and information systems that optimize readiness and affordability throughout their life cycle.  The candidate will develop and document those product support strategies in program plans and develop logistics support products (allowance documents, technical manuals, maintenance procedures, training packages, and support equipment) that contribute to achieving the highest materiel and operational readiness of U.S. Navy systems and programs.

Responsibilities: 

This position will provide critical support to the Fleet and enhance your knowledge and understanding of Product Support and Life Cycle Logistics concepts, and require:

  • Use of analytical tools
  • Conducting supportability analyses including Level of Repair Analysis, Reliability Centered Maintenance, Provisioning, and Maintenance Task Analysis.
  • Defining and developing Logistics Sustainment strategies
  • Conducting Logistics Assessments
  • Participation in Supportability Integrated Product Teams.
  • Occasional travel to client and project locations for short durations may be required.   

Qualifications: 

A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in supporting/managing the operation, maintenance, and/or logistics support of U.S. Navy systems.

  • Strong writing and communication proficiency to independently author program plans and technical reports.
  • Ability to conduct research, collect and evaluate data, and incorporate that data into reports, spreadsheets, charts, and briefing packages.
  • Demonstrate leadership and management skills to foster strong customer relationships, prioritize and complete tasks accurately and on schedule, and effectively communicate with peers, supervisors, subordinates, and clients.

Candidate must have or be able to obtain a government security clearance to the level of SECRET.
