PURVIS Systems is a technology leader in the public safety industry and provides state of the art system solutions to Fire Departments across the United States. We are seeking resumes for a Help Desk Technician. Looking for a tech-minded Help Desk Technician to be responsible for providing IT support, troubleshooting, and identifying solutions.
Description of Work:
As a Help Desk Technician, primary responsibilities include:
Position involves all aspects of computer systems configuration, set up and maintenance for new hardware and software, as well as existing systems.
The Help Desk Technician will work on-site at a customer location and will support 2nd and 3rd shifts. Candidate must be flexible to support all shifts, as needed with ample notice.
Position requires some heavy lifting of equipment on occasion, commensurate with job requirements.
Qualifications: Candidates for the Help Desk Technician must have:
Candidate must be familiar with Microsoft Windows Server 2016 – 2019. Must demonstrate knowledge of and experience in configuring desktop and laptop computers with Windows 7 and 10. Must have working knowledge of standard network protocols.
Candidate must have good problem-solving, analytical, and team-working skills. An openness to learning new technologies. Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communications skills. Must be able to work well alone and with others. Must be able to successfully handle multiple priorities simultaneously, as required.
Individual must be able to pass an FBI criminal background check. No sponsorship available.
