Job Title: Contracts Manager | Location: Middletown, RI | Full-Time
PURVIS is a technology solutions partner that develops, implements, and maintains mission-critical solutions for federal and local governments. We have an opening for a Contracts Manager, who is responsible for the management and administration of all customer contracts across a variety of business lines to include Department of Defense, GSA, and municipal customers.
Description of Work:
The Contracts Manager will be responsible to:
- Draft, review, negotiate, and execute a variety of contractual agreements. Provide contract administration through closeout.
- Serve as the primary point of contact to customers, subcontractors, and internal staff for all contractual communications.
- Develop and update contractual agreement templates, such as non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, contracts/subcontracts, license agreements and maintenance agreements.
- Prepare and deliver various contractual/government reports.
- Advise project managers to ensure compliance with all contractual requirements including MBE/WBE/small business subcontracting, and preparation of related internal and external management reports.
- Research and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws related to contracts and proposals.
- Provide proposal support, as needed, to include review of contractual terms in Requests for Proposal, assisting with contractual-related requirements, reviewing proposal sections, and executing forms/certifications as needed.
- Develop strong working relationships with contracts personnel of our major customers, as well as other applicable external resources (i.e., legal, DCMA, etc.)
- Track, organize and retain electronic files of contract documentation and correspondence. Ensure that all records are accurate and up to date
- Implement process improvements that lead to increased efficiency and/or higher quality service. Train direct staff and other affected staff in process changes.
The Contracts Manager is also responsible for overseeing the work of one direct report.
Qualifications:
Candidate must have 7-10 years prior experience in a contract administration role or a related field. Bachelor of Arts/Science in Business, pre-law, or related field or equivalent years of additional experience.
- Knowledge of contract law, accounting principles and finance. Knowledge of contract-related regulations such as the FAR/DFAR is a plus.
