PURVIS Systems Welcomes New Chief Financial Officer

Stephen P. Massed Selected to Head Financial Strategies as PURVIS Continues Nationwide Growth and Expansion into New Markets

Middletown, RI, August 6, 2008 – PURVIS Systems Incorporated, an IT systems and service provider for the public safety, emergency management and defense industries, today announced that it has appointed Mr. Stephen P. Massed CPA as its Chief Financial Officer, a new position within the company. Massed will be driving PURVIS Systems’ financial strategies as the company continues to expand its presence nationwide. He will be based in PURVIS’ offices in Middletown, RI.

Stephen Massed joins the PURVIS team after having worked with the company directly for several years in his role with Sansiveri, Kimball & McNamee LLP a Rhode Island-based public accounting and business consulting firm, where he served as Partner and was responsible for the firm’s Newport practice. Well-known and respected within the Rhode Island community, Massed has accumulated more than 30 years of audit and business experience. He has spent the majority of his career at SK&M, working through all phases of accounting, auditing, tax and business consulting and servicing clients in healthcare, tourism, homeland defense and internet technology industries.
